Leather and Bead Dangle Earrings $50

This is an intermediate to advanced leather-working class. 

In this class we will cut leather teardrop shapes, treat the edges from fraying. We will also preparing the cord to hold the bead dangles, which might seem straightforward but, of course, requires a bit of finesse. A silk wrap will further decorate the top of the earrings, making them look professional and attractive. Lastly, the fringe dangles will be added, giving them a beautiful finishing touch. 

Kit Fee: The kit for the class will be added to your ticket on the day of class.

Materials to purchase day of class: Kit includes: -S-lon cord (Tex70 or Tex135) -Leather (provided in kit) -Size 11 seed beads -Size 11 demi beads -Ear wires Bring these tools to class (or purchase): Leather working tools (set that contains stitch punches, etc.) (if you have them) Millimeter ruler Paper towel x1 Leather glue (provided or bring if you have) Teardrop shape cutters (provided or bring if you have) Utility hammer Leather cutting board (provided or bring if you have) 3-4 round toothpicks 2 small clothespins (provided) Chain nose pliers Beading awl Fiber/leather cutters (Fiskars are the best!) Big eye needle Thread burner Ultimate glue (provided or bring if you have) Bead board or mat Magnifiers/readers are highly recommended for a successful class experience (even if you wear contacts or glasses)! Students arriving late hold up the entire class — please be respectful of others by arriving early for class.
