SUMMARY:Metalworking: Framed Dome Bead Pendant
DESCRIPTION:Learn to set either a large bead or button inside a richly textured copper frame…made in a different way! This class requires typical metalsmithing skills\, only some of which are sawing\, filing\, annealing\, texturing\, dapping\, and perhaps\, optional riveting. Options include creating your own bail to connect to the jump rings (photo)\, or forming a square wire bail as shown. This wire is easily lengthened to a choker necklace\, a nice design. \n\n\n\nThe button works great if it has “troughs” on the back that some vintage buttons have\, shown in the inset photo. A button with a loop can work provided the loop can be removed\, which can require up to 6 tabs on the frame. \n\n\n\nPlease ask any questions on these before the class. \n\n\n\nKit Fee: The kit for the class will be added to your ticket on the day of class. \n\n\n\nNote: All materials and tools for classes must be purchased at Beadoholique Bead Shop.
