DESCRIPTION:In this class\, craft a pendant employing several basic metal smithing skills (always great practice for advanced artists): sawing metal sheet\, filing\, forming\, texturing\, cold-connecting\, adding patina\, and other special skills such as fold-forming\, doming\, and stamping with various tools. Select a copper drop for a theme\, and stamping tools that expand your idea\, and let’s get to it! Other skills that are options for intermediate/advanced levels are adding stones and riveting. \n\n\n\nNote: This is an intermediate class … but\, beginning level students can be accommodated with some adjustments to the features shown for this project! \n\n\n\nSee the supply list below for tools you need to bring because most tools are not supplied by the instructor or shop. \n\n\n\nMaterials: Items that are for purchase at the shop are noted with * asterisk.
