Fold-formed Copper Shield w/Silver Accent Earrings $140
April 25 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Practice some favorite metalsmithing techniques including folding, hammering, texturing, and more, to create copper earrings featuring a standout silver accent and sterling silver earwires. The project requires a liner tool for the decorative marks on the cross, which an be purchased at a jewelry supply shop, or made by filing the end of a small flat screwdriver. Another essential item is a smooth, fixed sanding surface to easily assist in preparing metal parts for soldering together. Medium to medium/fine sandpaper is recommended for this purpose: glue sandpaper (or use adhesive-backed) to flat wood blocks or paneling pieces, ahead of the class.
Class price includes all materials needed to make the earrings – does NOT include tools – you must bring what’s on the tool list.
Note: All tools for classes must be purchased at Beadoholique Bead Shop. This allows us to continue providing you with quality classes.
