Join me for a quick and fun class making a pair of brick stitch earrings around stainless steel frames. This is a beginner class.

Materials Needed:
Beading Frames (soft triangle, triangle, or round)
Ear wires
Size 8 Seed Beads
Size 15 Seed Beads
Delica size 11 (2-3 colors)
4mm Czech fire polished beads
6lb test (.006”) Fireline

Tools Needed:
Size 11 or 12 beading needle
Beading awl
Fiber scissors
Lighter or Thread burner
Bead board or mat
Magnifiers/readers are highly recommended
for a successful class experience (even if you
wear contacts or glasses)!
Techniques Used: Brick stitch, picot edging

Brick Stitch Ndebele Earrings

These earrings are a twist on the traditional brick stitch earrings because it incorporates the ndebele stitch. The result are a very lacy pair of pretty earrings. Inspiration came from a pair I saw on Pinterest – mine are a little different as they are on a smaller scale. This is a beginner class.

Materials Needed:
Sterling endless hoops 17mm
Size 15 Seed Beads
Delica size 11 (3 colors)
6lb test (.006”) Fireline

Tools Needed:
Size 12 beading needle

Beaded Hoodoo Triangle Stretch Bracelet

This is an advanced beginner chain maille class. You must have previous chain maille experience before taking this class.

This project is a fun new way to do chainmaille incorporating rubber “o” rings and beads into a stretch bracelet. Kit included in class price. Seed beads used in bracelet must be purchased separately.

Mixed Metal Wire Cuff

This is an intermediate class – you must have previous experience with wire weaving or wrapping.

In this class you will make a copper and sterling silver cuff, using decorative wire you make yourself, using a drill and rolling mill. Yes, power tools aren’t just for carpentry! No need to be afraid! When complete, you will have a stunning cuff with a lacy center that looks harder than it really is.

Materials Needed:
40 inches of 16g round, soft copper wire
32 inches of 16g round, soft sterling wire
20 feet of 28g weaving wire

Tools Needed:
Heavy duty flush cutters
Flat nose pliers

Steel bench block
Nylon or rawhide hammer

Sandpaper assortment
Safety Glasses

Copper Dome with Silver Frame earrings

This class will offer continued practice in a varied list of metalworking skills: soldering, hammering, wire forming, doming, and alternate and optional metal decoration techniques as for adding components like silver balls or rivets, or notching the dome edges and/or hammering in textures. Heat-coloring copper is so captivatingly fun that we will be at it again to obtain some awesome color effects. Making this pair of earrings is a fun way to personally say hello to spring; all you need to bring are your tools, supplies, and creativity!

Time for some new earrings for spring! These bright sterling silver woven earrings with crystal drops are perfect for day or evening. You will be learning a simple wire weave that you can use to attach wires for many projects. You will also learn how to wrap top drilled drops.
